Ice cream!!!

Cabbed down with Dar to Taka. Wanted to get mooncakes, who knows, the fair in Taka has not started, waste time. Shall go again one of these days. I want my Raffles Hotel mooncakes...

We alighted at Wisma cos Taka cab stand jammed. Walked around in Wisma for a while. Went to Esprit, saw 1 nice short sleeves shirt. The thousand and 1 size S which will fits Dear nicely. Grabbed and went to pay for it. Good buy, was discounted till $49.90, but I have the Esprit card, so further 10%, and it only costs me $45.00.

Didnt get anything for myself, I am so sad. But while I was in the cab, Topshop Suntec called and tell me that the top I wanted, Marina has it. Really thankful for the help, cos I only gave her a rough description of that top as Suntec dont carry it. I saw it initially at Marina, but they had taken down the top, and I didnt ask them, thinking that its already out of stock. Well, I shall go down either today or tomorrow.

Hehes, den went to outside cold storage and there is a store selling titbits from Japan and Korea. So I gotten back some titbits. I am the happy Pig!!!

We were very tired and hungry, so decided to sit sit for a while. Had 2 small small bread, den Sotong Dar says, she see people eating ice cream like very nice. And we went to get our ice cream. I ordered a crone - Dark Chocolate and Mint, while Dar ordered a cup - Lychee and Mint. Was happily eating, when something caught my eyes...I found hair inside the Mint ice cream. Went back to tell them and they changed a new 1 for me. I decided to ask them to change to a cup cos its easier to eat. Haha.

I went back, Dar was laughing cos I went with a crone and back with a cup....hahhaaaa....its as if, I had 2 ice cream. *faint!!!!*

I was suppose to meet Ah Lia yesterday to change the handphone line back to her name, but, ended up, we went for shopping instead. Went to one of my fav shop that sells nice dresses. Too bad, I didn't anything nice. We shop around over at Raffles area, I saw 1 dress, tried and pay.

I went to Marina myself while Ah Lia went to meet Wilson at Bugis. Wanted to get the topshop top that I saw on Sat, but didn't buy.................and I CAN'T find it at Raffles City, Marina and Suntec Topshop. I really like the top a lot, don't know what has gotten into me on Sat that I didn't buy. Super Sianz, so ended up I gotten a pair of shoes at $29+ and a belt at $24+ from M)phosis as they are having 30% storewide.

I have found the way to "style" my hair. Is to just blow dry it, and a bit of wax at the end of my fringe. I am happy that I need not use the clipper to straighten my whole hair, cos that really DAMAGES my hair and now, its drier than before. *SAD*

I need to find a dress for Jo's wedding!!!

My weekends

Well, I had quite a nice weekends...firstly, I went to trim my hair and cut off my fringe...Cynthia wanted to cut a full fringe for me, but decided not too, cos I cant carry that look, and with consideration that my fringe will always "open up" at my parting, there is no way to maintain that full fringe look. So, she cut me a fuller short (just above eyes) layered fringe that I totally like it.

The first thing she saw me, was telling me how fast my hair grow in just 2 months, and its so much longer den the last time she saw me. Well, my hair REALLY grow very fast. I remembered I just stapped off my hair from below bra-line to above shoulder in May last year, and it has grow to mid way to bra-line now, given the fact that I have cut/trim like every 2 months for then. Will be going back, latest mid September for my colors cos, there are lots of dinners coming up from end September.

People will ask, other people's wedding, what is there got to do with me??? Haha, okok, I am the super vain pot. But, well, my ah kor is getting married on the 11 and 12 Oct, customary on the 11th and dinner on the 12th. Then 1 week later on the 18th, one of my dearest gal, Jo Jo is getting married and I am 1 of the "jiemeis". Acutally, my hair color has already faded to brown again. Its was intially RED, but after 1 month or so, it turned to brown again. Now half of my hair is black, and the other half is brown. Kaoz, I cant really stand it man. Cynthia is thinking of what to dye for me, and I quite like the idea. Shall decide when I see her for my colors.

And, I MISS MY BEFORE MY SOFT RE-BONDED HAIR!!!! Cynthia blowed dry my hair into curls at the end, but but but but but......it cant stay for long, cos I still have my soft bond hair from half head. Its used to stay till the next day and longer, but now, it didnt stay for half a day. I m SO SAD. Cant wait for my hair to grow LONGER, so that I can perm and have my big big curls again. Cant wait, cant wait, cant wait. But, have to wait till before Chinese New Year, for my hair to grow till the length before I cut away.

After the hair cut, I went shopping myself before meeting Shihua. I saw a nice pair of heels from GUESS at Metro, but there isn't my size, too bad, I cant have that. I always have a weakness on those 4/5/6 inches heels. I have loads at home, but I still cant stop myself from owning more of them. Anywhere, Dear is tall enough to let me wear my heels without being taller than him. *Luckily*

And so, other than that pair of heel, there is nothing to buy in Orchard, so I decided to go over to Marina to shop, but it was a mistake cos of the fireworks at night, and there was hell lot of people. No wonder Orchard no people. I saw a top at Topshop Marina, was thinking of getting it, $89, but dont know what happen, I didnt. *Faint* Most probably, I will go and get it either tomorrow or Wednesday. Also, I saw a dress at Miss Shelfridge, $113/9 cant remember, but I took the wrong size, and I am LAZY to take the correct size to re-try, ended up, didnt get that too. I am really wondering, I was suppose to shop and buy things on Sat, ended up, saw something, but didnt buy, what the hell was I thinking????!!!

Dear came and pick me up at Suntec after his work. Wanted to Newton to have BBQ stingray, but Newton hawker was closed for washing, so had to re-think of where to eat. Actually, I had the craving for Changi Village Nasi Lemak, but he says not that nice, so decided to go Bedok there to have his bak chor mee, my chai chee porriage, and our westen food. After that, home sweet home.

Slept till nearly 12pm on Sun. I am a pig lah. But Dear is worse than me, he is still sleeping after I have woke up. Woke up, first thing, had my breakfast cum lunch. Watch a bit of TV, then I fall asleep again while Dear prepared himself for work. After opening the door for him, I watch another bit of TV, and again, I went back to sleep. Hahaha...Dear always say, I lead a "summo" lifestyle on Sunday. All I do is to sleep and eat and watch TV the whole day. Hey, that's the only day in the week that I can do this, I will be very stupid if I just stay up the whole day lor.

And I am still craving for Nasi Lemak, shall ask him to go Bt Batok to eat. Haha.

Here I am, blogging at 4.15pm on a friday in office...

Nothing much to do today...or I am just too sleepy and tired to finish my work. Another 1hr 15mins before knocking off and I am taking my own sweet time to do my stuffs.

Blogging really likks time. Another 1 hr to go...think by the time i finish with this super "bo liao" post, its 5.30pm already and today its FRIDAY...finally 2 days of no need work.

Today Peb Peb has to be returned to the "rightful" owner. I really don't think that you have registered the dog under your name, your are the rightful owner. It should be something like fighting for the child custody, whoever has taken all the effort in finding Peb back, whoever has taken all the effort in taking care of Peb will have her. But the law is law..there is nothing as going against them. *SAD!!!!!*

Well, the news is out already on the new Parenthood perks. And that's a good news to the mother-to-be. It was suppose to kick in on 01-01-09, but now, they had revised to back date it from 17-08-08. But, thinking of what my pregnant colleague said, how to take that 4 mths, when there is no time to clear the annual leaves. Haha, true true, I totally agree...not enough time to clear the annual leaves, still come in the 4 months...hmmmmmm......

Time now is 4.45pm...well, its always like this...once it reach the 5.00pm mark..time flies, hahaha..

I seriously need some retail therpy and a haircut..and I am going for both tmr...I would say, a trim for my hair, cos I am trying the hardest to grow it back and perm it...hahaha, another 6 mths before its long enough I guess. And I really hope that I can get some nice tops and dresses. I went shopping with Dear on Tuesday. It was me who wanted shopping, end up, stupid Dear gotten a shirt form topshop and I had nothing..BIG SIANZ!!

5.00pm already...hahaha...can see how bored I am???? Counting down...my god!!!

Withdrawal from not buying things

Guess what...I had bought 3 books at 1 go at Popular yesterday!!!! I think I must be either too free or too stress or I just wanted some retail therapy...

But I think the answer is more on I have withdrawals from not buying clothes... I know my wardrobe has lots and lots of tops, dresses, etc...but but but but but....I still have nothing to wear............

I need to go shopping for clothes...ASAP....I shall ask dear to drive me down to either Vivo or Suntec, Marina for shopping...I cant decide where to go....Marina has Miss Shelfridge, Vivo has Forever 21...Zara , MNG, Topshop, are at both locations....Think most prob, I shall go Vivo, parking is cheaper, and no ERP from Jurong...

Shopping, shopping, I shall begin to countdown to 5.30pm....and off to shopping...keeping my fingers crossed...I can find tops there!!!!

Malaysia - "Day Trip"

Wanted to go to JB for a while and I finally get to go in on Monday - 11 Aug 2008.

Office was closed on this day, and Dear changed his shift with his collegue. But, it was a MISTAKE going in!!!! We went through 2nd link cause Woodlands was having a masive jam. 2nd link was cleared, and we thought that it will get us quickly to City Square. We went for a car was and also to top up petrol, then to City Square. And we were caught in a jam immediately after Pelangi. It took us quite a while before we reached the bridge to the customs. But it was being blocked by the TP there. No choice, we made a turn, and I remembered that there is a inner road to city square side, but i forgotten where to turn. Wanted to use the sea road through Denga Bay, but missed it again...No choice, and we went straight into that SUPER MASSIVE JAM!!!!!!!! It took us more then 2 hours from the bridge to City Square (which is like 500meters???!!!!!!)

SO IRRITATED!!!! The coming back is well, I hate to say...its better to pay MORE via 2nd link...rather den caught in that stupid massive jam!!!

Back to School

I have finally decided to go back to take one of my last 2 papers...its Paper P1 - Professional Accountant. Its about corporate governance, ethics, etc. I have enough ethics paper under my name...the other 2 killer papers, used to be paper 2.6 (audit paper - which I cant remember the name)which I took a long long time before I passed, then, the other Paper 3.1(Advanced Audit and Assurance), we are suppose to take this if we want to be a CPA. And was supposed to be the harder paper compared to level 2, but, I find this easier.

Once, I remember a lecturer said something like this in class...."who cares about ethics when you are in the working world"...well...don't me whether i agree or not...haha...

Coming back to this current paper I am taking...most will find this super boring, lots of reports, very "dry" paper. However, I find it ok, except need to read all the reports in the appendixs and the reference book. This paper, I can say, is on the current happenings in the corporate world...understanding how the coporate scandals came about and how to prevent more from happening.

After going for night classes for the past few weeks, which starts from 6.45pm to 9.45pm once a week, and having revised a bit in the weekends, plus all the going out... I am dying from not enough sleep..Going for night classes, studying and at the same time working...is enough to kill..I really wonder who people can endure for going to night classes for like 2-3 times a week..

Haha, ok, I admit, I am lazy when come to going for classes.....lalala, I have lesson later...shall be stonning there...
